An in-depth study of fabrication methods in wood, plastics and foam using computer assisted woodworking.  Students will learn to use various equipment used in a woodworking facility and woodworking fabrication processes. The course emphasis is to teach students woodworking fundamentals, shop safety,  CNC programming, operations and set-up procedures using computer numerical controlled (CNC) Router.  Specific programming topics include the machine coordinate system, linear and circular interpolation and use of "G and M" codes. Students will have a working knowledge of wood working equipment and procedures used in the industry.
